Well Adi (James) seems to think the website is dead. Not true. I've been pretty busy with other stuff during the last week, including rekindling my Realms of Despair career, which ihas sucked down 20 hours in the last five days. I do have a Lvl7 Human Warrior named Cerik to show for it though. ^GEEK^..

So whats been happening? Managed to get my Applied Communications assignment in on time, though it was a crappy rushed effort. I will be happy with a pass on that one. Friday night saw me celebrate with a few beers up at Jacqui's. Probably a few too many actually. Sometime just before midnight me and Ben decided to take a stroll down to the jetty near her place. We thought we should jump the back fence as a shortcut, although it turned out the back alley didn't go to the river. Another fence jump and a quick cut down a nearby lane and we were back on track, however the rain started pissing down. We found shelter in a half built house and sussed that out before deciding to make a dash in a small window. Unfortunatly that closed up quickly and we were left leaning against a surprisingly dry tree. Great news. Five minutes later we made a dash for a sailing club and hid under a nearby verandah, at which point Ben says "Do you smell ants?" sure enough the tree we were leaning against was full of ants. They started biting and didn't stop til about 3am. Bastards. Next thing a fricking frog jumps off my jumper. We had a good look at him before returning him to a tree. Then the rain subsided and we truimphantly walked to the end of the bridge and took in the view. However the city was quickly clouding over so we had a quick job back to Jacqui's. Everyone was in bed though so that was pretty much the end of the night. Good fun had by all but the ants.

Slow day Saturday.

Got around to Andrews a bit late on Saturday night. It was his birthday and people were getting messy. Few games of kings and it was all on. Adi and Mark being stupid pissheads as normal.Ant brings home his brother and brother-in-law. They were hella pissed and felt that because i am tall i was "My God". Yeah right. freak! He then decides to kiss me on the cheek. freak! Totally surreal shit. Anyway Andy carked it later and me and Ad drove home around four.

Slow day Sunday.

Went to the Martix Reloaded with Ben, Olga and Eda on Sunday night. We went to Carousel as there were only a few session on at Innaloo.We had some time to burn before it started so we went to the Foundry and had a bourbon and a ciggie. The Matrix was a total headfuck, which provided a lot of laughs and a bit of confusion. But we're told to wait for the third movie before kaing a decision. Looking back at it now, and having read a few forums on it, I think that it was pretty damn sweet.

Had a surf with G and Ad Monday morning. Got a few nice waves out off Floreat Drain, but I was fucking cold in my boardies. Saw the guys get a few nice ones here and there. Overall i thought it was a bit mud, but just the same it was good to get out there. Me, Ben and Guy went out to Stathams Monday afternoon and had a climb on Striding Edge Direct (17). It's a good climb with some very nice moves. This morning we went out to Churchmans and played around with trad gear on Pink Knickers (12) and First Route (15). Congrats to Guy on his first trad route. Just watch out for the snakes next time mate I led both and it was a bit hairy on the trad pro. Kinda freaked out halfway up First Route, but successfully topped out. I love that shit. After that we spent a while working out Snatcheds and Lays (24) and eventually Ben managed to scramble to the top. I was well out of my league there :-)

Got home around four and the power was out and didnt come back till after eight. So I laid on the couch and tried to go to sleep. Coffee fucked that idea up completely so I helped the old fellah make some dinner. Few beers up at Addeis saw the end of another great day. I feel a bit bad about missing uni though :-P
