My mind is a fun place to be out of.

rzIt's been a surprising month or so..

On the 12th I dragged a whole heap of crew down to the Leedy for some free drinks courtesy of my favorite minx, Jasmin. She got everyone well trashed, the jugs just kept coming and coming. We almost couldn't keep up. Almost. Left there around 10.30 and went back to mine, where I decided to tackle Ben and fractured my arm. Damnit. I managed to sleep through the night in pain, and got Benno to drive me to the hospital on Monday morning. The Doc said they had to operate, and what the Doc says goes.

Hospital is always a trip. Some of the new terms i picked up include "Spiral Fracture", "Biopsy" and "Dialysis". The first one a girl in emergancy sustained after deciding to jump off the carpark walls in Scarbrough in high heels. The second and third relate to the bloke in the next bed down from me. He had 10% liver function left and was looking a bit off, but he helped me get my breakfast sorted out and he was a good bloke. I was glad I wasn't him.

Bob was the guy across from Mr Liver, but he didn't say anything the whole night and morning I was there. He was old though. Directly across from me was a bloke named Des who got hit by a car on the freeway a few months ago and was still stuck in hospital. He had his first attempt at walking again the morning I was there. Sad thing was that his girlfriend had a baby while he was in there and was getting thrown out of home because the rent was late. Des was a little stressed about the whole thing.

And that was my trip to the hospital. Picked up some Panadiene Forte on the way home and the rest is history. I went and got the bandage taken off and staples removed on Monday morning, and now my elbow is looking a little messy. Time to readjust to my new look :-)

What else has been going on?

Olga's 21st went well off, Patty mixed up a storm behind the 'tables, everyone got smashed and i think we all agreed it was a great party. Chilling down at the Hangout on Sunday arvo was an enlightening and humorous situation, especially when the holds started to melt down the wall. Great fun.

The weekend after Bishop, Jo, Naomi and I had a good tweak up at Jo's house. I could elaborate on this but if you need to know how that went you should already know. Okay, it was a schweeet, schweet night. He.

The Boys had thier first indoor cricket game Monday night so I went along in a support (read beer-drinking) role. It was the first time I'd seen it played and have to say it was pretty cool. I think a few of the fellahs nearly died though. The cause was either a heart attack or an aneurysm from the nerves. They lost this game, though I reckon they will beat this team if they come up against them again. Little purple fags, they were.

In other news, space shuttle Columbus blew up, Canberra burnt down, WWIII started, trains crashed and the Earth kept turning.

Well, thats what stands out in memory. Probably update in another 30 days, but look out for a new layout. I've been teaching myself Macromedia Studio during my time off.

Laterzzz.
