Dear Dairy,

Well that's the end of a pleasant weekend. It started off on Thursday night down at the cricket nets with the boys. I ran a few laps of the oval and had a few balls. It was the first time I've bowled a real cricket ball so it was pretty special. Or something. Had half a cookie later in the evening and from our initial fears of a non-event the night ended up going well past midnight. Lots of scintilating conversation about the Gulf War and Hippies. Bung eyes everywhere.

I worked on Friday and Saturday, so Friday night was quite mellow. I finished of the last 200 pages of The Eye Of The World. I thought it was a great book, really well written except for maybe the last chapter. I just didn't comprehend how Rand suddenly starts seeing cords running out of himself. Well I suppose I could understand it, but the wording wasn't as clever as I might have hoped. Anyway I've put off starting the next book because I begin uni next week, and can't keep reading till the sun comes up.

Saturday night saw the boys off to Moore River to try and snavel some fish. Apparently they didn't have much luck. No surprise there. My night progressed similarly. I went round to Damo's and got Fucking Wasted. Beer was a good start, but I have to question the sense in ending in Scotch on the Rocks. It was a quick and nasty ending. It was good to see Leish, I scanned the picture we got taken at Sci-Fi and its all the bottom of the photo list to your right. She's bought herself a motorbike though I didn't get to see it coz she drove her car. Anyway, it was good to catch up.

Today has been very mellow. Felt like $^#$&%*&^ when I woke up and havn't really got much better. Went to Adz and had a game of Tiger Woods. I was narrowly beaten. We played this wicked course called The Predator. Very cool. I watched 28 Days tonight, and although its a chick flick I kinda liked it - Steve Buscemi is in it. And Drug Use and Rehab.

Oh yeh, and thanks to Bayman for sending a fucking massive picture of a mountain to my hotmail. Thanks mate.
